We believe that welfare and safeguarding of everyone at Willow Lane Church is very important, especially our children, young people and identified adults at risk. We have made clear in our policy the ways in which we seek to make sure that everyone feels safe at our Church.
We also believe that although we have specific people in specific roles (Designated Safeguarding Officer and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer) that Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and that we all have a part to play in keeping each other safe.
“We desire that Willow Lane Church is a place where everyone is and feels safe whilst having the opportunity to hear about God and all that He has done for us. We hope and pray that everyone who comes to the Church for any of its gatherings, events and activities will feel welcome, safe and comfortable during their time with us.” Matt Parker – Designated Safeguarding Officer and Pastoral Worker.
Please find our full Safeguarding Policy here which details how we seek to keep people safe as well as our code of conduct.
